Feeling Dizzy?

When I picked up H pylori in Egypt – it was 2004 – I had a few days of severe nausea, throwing up and weakness.

During the week that followed, these symptoms went away, but I never quite felt the same after I returned home.

Three years later, they returned along with a bunch of stomach pain and heartburn. It was their return that focused my attention to get tested for H pylori.

I can remember having to duck out of two personal training sessions (where I was supposed to be the healthy one) to run downstairs at the gym and throw up.

It wasn’t pretty and nor was it especially endearing to my clients, who didn’t fancy paying £60 per hour to sit in the gym while I hurled vomit down the toilet.

Unlike 2004, the symptoms in 2007 were much more sporadic. They only happened a few times and there wasn’t really much pattern to them.

The reason I got tested was that I also developed pretty gnarly heartburn at the same time (plus the mojo issue, which you can read about in another blog post).

Remarkably, when I began taking herbs to fight the H pylori, all the nausea went away and I’ve never had it since. Because the nausea went, so did the vomiting.

Furthermore, the heartburn disappeared, literally within a few days.

I look back and often wonder why I didn’t decide to get tested sooner. It would have saved a lot of pain.

But on the plus side, I probably wouldn’t have written my book and newsletter about H pylori had things been different.

Speaking of which, if you’d like to read my book, go to Amazon. The book’s called The H Pylori Diet… and if you’d like to receive some non-annoying and helpful emails, hints and tips from me, sign up here.

I am at my wits end with this h pylori. I tried the metula tea and started to develop an allergic reaction to it on the 3rd week. I’ve had to quit all herbs and can’t take mastic gum. It was working than my body started building intolerances to food and herbs. I had an anaphylactic Shock from the triple therapy antibiotics and ended up in the hospital twice this week. The second time for severe he art palipitations, shakes, extreme weakness and gerd.

My doctor gave me a ppi to tie me over until I get more blood work done for antibiotic intolerances. This is by far the worst week yet. Because of this I am severely depressed cause I don’t even have the energy to walk my own dog. Does the weakness and heart palipitations go away??

I have been Ill and seeing symptoms since October of this year. I’m trying to be positive but I’m losing hope. Please help.

I don’t think this will be due to H pylori on its own.

I recommend you work with a naturopath or someone else who knows how to deal with these situations.
